Plan is to fly into Sidney in June. Then to Brisbane then Cairns then Ayers Rock then back to Sidney. Trip will be around 7 weeks. It will be just my girlfriend (I can't afford a trip like this).
Recommendations or things to see or do.
Things to stay away from.
Bad charter or tour companies.

Looking for local flair and personal insight.

Going on vacation this summer in Australia. Have booked some tours here and there. Just booked 4 days with OZ Adventures to do some sailing and diving. The confirmation talks about how Bed bugs are normal when people live in close quarters :-O

I need a break. I have two kids (7&9) and my husband wants a beach holiday. We are thinking of Redcliffe for four days, can any one recommend where we should go, and family friendly accomodation that will not be too crowded. We are looking for relaxing and peaceful, walking distance to the beach.

If you can send us nice not too hot weather that would be good to. I am expecting to pay about $150 per night, at least a 2 bedroom apartment.

I have planned to travel in New Zealand but I am not sure that it is a good idea to rent motorhome for this trip.

I am planning a trip to New Zealand (no dates yet) and wanted to know...

- When is the best time to go (weather wise)
- I'm trying to avoid the tourist "hot spots," what are some great local places you reccomend? I'm more "turned on" by the natural aspect of New Zealand, so please base your responses on that (outdoor activites).
- ...but I also want to hit a few bars and clubs while I'm there, suggestions?
