I have been seeing numerous pictures of a Dimond in a coat hanger over the sydne opera house during their 2007 celebration. my question is can anybody tell me what it stands for?

Hey Twinkle. Not an Aussie? The bridge was given the nickname The coathanger years ago because of its shape. Similarly people from New South Wales, particularly Sydney siders are also called coathangers. This year is the Diamond Anniversary of the bridge. It is 75yrs old or something. Therefore a diamond and a coathanger

who cares, the main thing is the fabulous fireworks for the public. It cost millions of dollars for 2007, and it is spectacular.
