What do Australians think about it?
Why am I not suprised it's happening in Australia? I understand more than half of you people are anti-american, but please for the love of God, keep this american tradition alive!

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is a legal minimum number of days holiday that an Australia company has to contracturally give you (not including the national holidays), or is it just down to the company to decide how many days it allows?

There are quite a huge number of flies around Australia in summer, even in big cities like Sydney. Has the Australia government tried to solve this problem? It's very annoying when you walk along streets with your hand waving at flies all the way. And what on earth is the reason to make cities overflow with flies?

hello,

i am currently planning a working holiday to oz for this fall by myself. My plans are to go with about 8000 to 10000 dollars cdn. I wouldnt mind staying in one city for the entire stay which would be about a year.I heard sydney is a great place to spend a year but can be really expensive. My question is what would be the best city to go to? Iam a nineteen yr old male and i would also like to get a job. What is the best city in regards to meeting ppl, cheapest accomodation, and employment. Iam lucky because i will not have to pay for my tickets because my dad said he would for me. So how much money should a guy bring. any help would be great!!!

thanks

I am currently in the market for a house in the suburbs of Qld. I am considering homes in: Fig Tree Pocket, Taringa, Indooroopilly, Chapel Hill, Wynnum, Paddington, Toowong, Tennyson, Brooksfield, Coorparoo, and Bellbowrie. Any input or experience? We're very open-minded, we are not Christian and would not like to live in a conservative town, we have money but are a bit "hippie" and green. We would like a large house with a large garden. We have a daughter as well so would be interested in a good school system.
