OMG! Cairns is the best place to visit...it is actually pronounced "CANS". When i was there we went scuba diving in the great barrier reef. We also went bunjy jumping at A.J. Hackets site in the most gorgeous place ever! There was this really cool zoo like place where you were able to see all of the animals, it included a meal and it taught you about some culture. There they had white kangaroos with blue eyes! Trippiest thing i ever saw. Also, there is this place you can go to to meet actual aborrigionees(i dont know how to spell that). But, they have the cultural food there. They teach you how to throw a boomerang and how to play that long stick instrument. It was probabally the best time of my life! Please go there and do all that. Also, there is millions to do on top of that, and if you get the right hotel...everything is within walking distance. he cars are cool too, be careful they drive on the wrong side of the road.

The Great Barrier Reef is a collection of reefs and islands that stretches for 2000km along most of the Queensland coast. It has huge stocks of corals, fish and marine life of all sorts and the islands and coasts support millions of seabirds and shorebirds both endemic and migratory. It is a great place for sailing, diving and fishing.
