Ok, you can get an extension on your 1year working holiday visa. However, to get the extension you need to do 3months of what is classed as 'seasonal' work. i.e anything to do with farming, fisihing or mining. I don't particulary want to have to do any of these jobs, so I am wondering if anyone out there managed to get the extension without actually doing the work req....?!

Good question mate, i'm on a WHV in oz and would like to get an answer to this question! I heard that if you work somewhere other than main centres (Sydney, Melbourne etc..) then that may qualify you for the 2nd visa. Not sure though, sounds doubtful to me. I'd like to be able to get a 2nd visa but not at the cost of doing fruit picking!
