I'm looking at moving there :). What attractions does the town have? How close is it to the WA/SA/QLD border? What are the closest towns?

Alice is nearly 300km north of the South Australian border, 500km east of the WA border and about 500km west of the Queensland border. Mind you, when you get to the borders you have at least another thousand kilometres to go before you get to what might be described as civilisation.

The town is a major tourist attraction with remarkable landscapes and history. There is much to see around the town and on day trips before heading west to Uluru and KataTjuta.

It's very hot weather, and is about a 2 day drive to any major cities (Adelaide, Darwin) Its main attraction is Ayers Rock or 'Uluru' Which is a giant rock. And a large tourist attraction. Its not a very large town either

I hope you like flies!!!!! yep flies and you will need a specially made hat that has netting that comes down around your face if you don't want flies crawling all over your face, especially in summer time. Plus its very very hot and a long way from a major city. I myself wouldn't live there if you paid me too.
