For 2006 I lived in Thailand where I worked as a Teacher. I earned less than $6000 usd. The schools I worked for never gave me an income statement which is typical. Fellow US citizens that have been living in Thailand for awhile tell me not to worry about the income statements (submitting them) and report it as foreign income. They told me they have reported it this way for years without any problems. Is this correct?

By the way I had no US income for 2006. Thai only.

Thanks.

What area of Bangkok has a decent amount of tourist pubs that are not in turn surrounded by a load of sleasy bars? I was thinking in general of sukhumvit rd but its a long road... :o)

I was goin to stay at Majestic Suites Bangkok but i then realised it has the red light district behind it. I really dont want to have that shoved in my face. Then i saw excellent reviews for the Majestic grande which is just down road. I is a wee bit confused . Is it really that bad there even on main road around the nana metro stop? How far does this nana red light district area spread . Thanx for info 'n stuff

I'm doing an 8 day tour of Bangkok, Vietnam and Cambodia. The tour price is £260 per person, and this covers transport and share accommodation. We do go to some of the famous sites, but this price does not cover entrance fees. What do you reckon?
