All the answerers above gave you good information on Nok Air. Here is a website that will give you additional information about passengers' feedback on Nok Air.

Most of the passengers were satisfied with the service on Nok Air as mentioned by people above. The service is friendly, the aircraft is clean and just have to buy snacks & drinks if you are in economy class. Also, you have a choice of upgrading to Nok Plus which has free drinks & snack, larger seats and 30kg baggage allowance compare to 15kg for economy class. Here is Nok Air's website.

just a couple comments on previous answers ...... first off .... OF COURSE the locals like Nok, its cheap and theyre all broke. as for it having less services than Thai Air .... i didnt think that was possible. ive flown Korean Airlines, Japan Airlines, Thai Airways and Cathay Pacific to Thailand ....... and Thai Airways had the worst service by a landslide. their flight attendants also dont exhibit the attitudes exhibited by most Thais, they are rude and act as if you ruined their day when you ask for something. on the other side, Cathay Pacific BLOWS all other airlines away. their service is excellent and safety record about the best in the air.

that being said ....... why on Earth would you want to fly from Bangkok to Udon Thani ??? its a beautiful drive. i cant remember if you take the 2 from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat to the locals) then the 1 to Udon Thani, or the 1 to the 2. either way its a beautiful drive, and youll be able to stop by the Phimia ruins ..... which is a MUST see.

I flew with Nok Air before from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. If you like the bigger seat and 1hr. or more of comfort, then book it or upgrade it to Nok Plus. I like NokPlus because I can change my travel date without any fee, able to assign my seat online and more weight allowance for my lugguage. Besides it doesn't cost too much more than basic rate. I paid 535 Bahts more than coach ticket but with more flexibility.

Nok Air is pretty decent airline. The locals do like to fly with it. You need not worry too much, it is among the better domestic airlines.
