I don't like the idea that "artistas" should be politicians. As an icon, you should stay onscreen. There are so many ways to affect the world without running for office. There's a big lack of activism here, and it doesn't have to mean marching int he streets or going to strike. They can do it on their own way--- through humor or performing onscreen.

...when I was president---oh, i mean, when my beloved Ferdie was president of Philippines? Of course, you do! Those were the glory days of our Republic. I danced and sang and shopped for all of you little island people to see, hear, and admire. Class---I brought a sense of class for the masses of the Philippines to follow and emulate to this day.

im living here in the philippines and going to high school, and i was born here but lived most of my life in the usa. im half filipino n half white so whenever i take a tricycle to my house for lunch and back... my fare always differs! sometimes i get charged p25,p35, and even p40!!! i know that these drivers do
this for a living but i know that the price is realy p10..... do they think that americans are rich?
