Need suggestions on wonderful places outside Manila (except Boracay), where can we spend a three-day vacation. One with nice beach and wonderful nature spots etc.

Palawan has the best beaches in the Philippines. Clean and uncrowded not like Boracay, although its a little bit expensive. But if you are a Balikbayan for sure you can afford it!

What about Mactan island (or whatever the name of the island where the beach resorts are by the Cebu airport). But don't bother with Camiguin island. Sooooo boooring. Some beaches in Batangas are nice. What about El Nido in Palawan?

Bolinao, Pangasinan - great resorts there by China Sea. Prevailing rate is PHP1000 per night.
Camiguin Island
Any beaches in Palawan
El Nido
Pagudpud Beach in Ilocos
Vigan (very old world with historic homes and cobbled streets) and La Union are great places too with lots of beaches.
Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan.

Go south... Palawan and Davao are two of the best places which has good ambience, white sand beaches and a sense of nightlife. You can have a good relaxation period there.
