No one is perfect, remember to take this sentence in your mind. She is not that beautiful but she is smart. She is not that tall but the tallness is in her soul, but I don't think that she is worth to be the president of the Philippines, because many reading materials says that she is corrupt and I agree with that. Our economic crisis is getting nicer but it is not yet that fine. Could she overcome our country that is full of poorness? Well, ask her if you can.

She is the best actually in my opinion. I just hope the opposition don't win so all the programs she created in place will continue to make the Philippines thrive economically. There are only two countries/currencies being watched closely by investors & central banks of the world. One of them is Vietnam and the other is the Philippines. PGMA had put a large dent to our national debt by being able to pay becoz of our robust economy. We have at least $22 BILLION in foreign reserve to counter any currency raids that could be initiated by people like George Soros. Filipinos should be proud. When someone says our economy sucks or that there are more poor people in our country more than ever, run for the hills becoz he/she is either lying, misinformed, clueless or all of the above.

She's not a saint that she erred not. But she's not a devil that the people opposed to her tried to portray. She's short like most Filipinas but speaks sense than most Filipinas.
She's the most oppressed president that we have, and she got my symphaty.
Like her dad president, she espoused what is statesmanship, the values of unity and cooperation, to move forward and uplift the people from the bondage of poverty.
Reforms are in her agenda to free this government of its systemic defects.
She understands economics and politics, the two good body of knowledged to possess in a president. Without the other, we will always be in chaos.
The president who prays to God before anything be done. Go to mass, a devout Catholic.
A wonderful woman, who taught her children to grow strong and stand on their own.
She's the oyster holding on a pearl and constantly being attacked by crabs!

do we have other choices? you see, when elections are ongoing, the naive, the corrupted, and the dumb with popularity gathers to be elected.
with the previous presidency candidates, i think PGMA is good enough. Much better than having some mindless actors or an even more corrupted politician on the seat.
Knowing the government as it is, "corruption" is quite inevitable, not that i'm saying they got a choice, but the funds are low, and there are so many things to do. sometimes they got to do what they have to do...

yet another day of heavy site visitors! I stay close to Batasan and that's generally hard to flow out. final year, a shopper provided a job throughout the time of her SONA and that i had to tutor it down. an threat lost. hehe. properly, previous is previous. i'm incredibly extremely drawn to what she is going to assert this time on the grounds that there have been some considerable themes these days.

I do not know if Filipinos can honestly evaluate the President. It appears Filipinos are more interested in a persons family name, quick fixes and celebrity standing than politicians qualifications. PGMA has the educational credentials to be the President of the Philippines and that is a first for the Philippines.
PGMA has demonstrated she is willing to tackle difficult task for the betterment of the country such as getting the VAT increased and opposing Congress setting wages knowing it would be opposed by the masses and used against her by the Opposition Party.
How can you argue she is not doing a better job than previous Administrations when the Stock Market is stronger than it has ever been since created, construction of new homes is at the highest level in the history of the Philippines and developers do not build homes unless the people have the money to purchase them, the Peso is stronger than it has been in six years, the National Debt has been reduced even lower than she had predicted, tax collection has improved, an Anti-Terrorist Bill has been passed, Foreign Investment is slowly returning to the Philippines, etc.
PGMA has a plan for the Philippines. What has the Opposition Party offered the people of the Philippines except more of the same, destabilization of the goverment and taking to the streets to ignore the Constitution. One of the major players for the Opposition Party served as many terms in the House of Representatives as legally possible and never authored or proposed one single piece of legistlation. He is now running for Senator and is said to be certin to win. He will certainly be remembered for stating the family of PGMA has millions in a German Bank, but never offered one piece of credible evidence to prove it.
Is PGMA a virgin when it comes to corruption? I doubt it, but who in the Philippines is free of corruption. Corruption has become an acceptable part of the Philippine culture. From the lowest to the highest they think nothing of paying a "Fixer", paying a bribe to get out of a traffic ticket, paying a bribe to get a permit, etc. The Church thought nothing of accepting money from illegal gambling to support their charities, renovate old churches and construct new ones until one of their own started speaking out against illegal gambling. Even the Church leader at the forefront of leading the fight against illegal gambline used questionable techniques to accomplish what he wanted by using the slander and libel of questionable characters to appear for him before the Congress. The Cardinals and Bishops are honored to appear in Mass with President Estrada knowing he has children by several women and claims more than one family in direct violation of Cannon Law. Is it possible to survive in the Philippines without being somewhat corrupt?
The fine Cardinal at the recently held Prayer Rally was right a "Character Change" is needed in the Philippines and a good place for it to start is with the leaders of the Church. Corruption will not be eliminated in the goverment of the Philippines until corruption is eliminated from the daily lives of the Philippine people.
PGMA may not be perfect, but she is the President and could most likely do an even better job in lifting the country out of poverty if she did not have to deal daily with the unfounded attacks of the Opposition Party. When the people of the Philippines get their head out of the sand and see that she has made progress and come to realize the problems of the Philippines did not all occur during her Administration and just as they did not occur over night cannot be cured overnight.
As an outsider living in the Philippines taking nothing from it but contributing to it I certainly feel more secure with her at the helm of the country.
