This is a song by Yoon Do Hyun call Road...i really like it and would like to know what it means.

Read the news today, Malaysia is gonna spend $25b to build a city for Saudis.

Okay, im really pissed off.
First, we have so many problems we lost count of them, Education, Medical supplies, Transportation improvement, and much more.

I pay my tax for some city that is occupied by foreigners? bullsh**
They should be using that 25billion on improving cities, and make better highways! This wasn't mentioned on the 9mp crap. I thought building the sports arena was dumb, this is worse. Throwing our money away like that. What do we get? Nothing! VPM.Najib, did you fell down the stairs?

I want to know what you think, you against this or with it? Doesn't matter i just wanna know what the typical Msian thinks.

thanks.

Something different for a change. We have been singing Malaysia’s praises all long.

Let me start the ball running & quote you a few examples:
1. State controlled media - publishing only what the government wants us to know. Look at our newspapers controlled by political parties, printing permits controlled by government.
2. Racial discrimination - the long suffering Chinese & Indians. Quotas imposed in universities, scholarships, public sector employment, just to name but a few.
3. Reckless Malaysian drivers - Self explanatory :-). Why then do we have Ops “this” & “that” during festive season? And any reduction in road accidents?
4. Bahasa Melayu - at the expenses of English. Now that the goverment has woken up to the importance of English, isn’t this a bit too late? No enough suitably qaulified English teachers.

These are the 4 items that I can think of, for now. What’s yours?

I am considering taking my 3 children ( 4yrs, 8yrs & 10yrs) to either singapore or KL, which out of the 2 would you recommend and where would you stay? I am after somewhere, where there is great shopping, lots of childrens/family activities, safe and hopefully clean. I was thinking sunaway lagoon resort but have read terrible reports from other travellers lately. I was hoping to go in the off season as obviously it is cheaper to fly. When is the off season for the above and do you recommend going then? If anyone has any tips out there, please let me know. Thanks.

For those who post here, who actually lives in the Philippines? Name your city if you please.

I remember as a child going to some of those. They were actually pretty fun for the living (fun might be the wrong word). They lasted for days and nights. There were crying, singing, gambling, eating, getting drunk and getting into drunken fights; drinking lots of coffee and a lot of sitting around, chatting with families and neighbors. They were true community events I thought.

According to some people, it's just not the same as it used to be (say 20 years ago). I remember back then, everyone would invite anyone to stop by their houses to visit, eat, drink, and be merry. Nowadays, it's no longer the norm. Is that true? How sad if it is.
