well... i can't think of anything, because quite frankly, i've seen a few of her jobs materialize. Let's start?
The MRT... it was the idea of Ex-Pres. Ramos, materialized on Estrada's term but it was too expensive for normal people, and... made it affordable by Gloria.
The affordable rice, sure Estrada started it, but eventually, Gloria added more to make it easier for the masses.
Let's think for more... oh, i can't.. i've forgotten. Let's face the fact that all politicians are corrupt. But sometimes, corruption can be seen LITERALLY. when has anyone see Gloria wear any "Gucci" or "Prada" or any of those designers? The MAlacanang palace remained as is, when the other former leaders re-arranged, re-furnished, and done quite some expensive changes.
Politics require a lot of money, and Gloria Arroyo doesn't have that. You can still see that she and her family will always be classified as upper middle class. How? Her salary a month as president is 50,000 Php. Not even enough for a new outfit.
She may not be the best choice as of the moment, but there's no choice. As soon as a better and more qualified candidate arrives, there's nothing ANYBODY should complain about, because they've complained about everybody! There's no satisfaction or whatever.
**and to those people who think she's a corrupted liar, think again. the government doesn't have funds. Are you sure you paid your taxes?

I don't hate her at all. At her age, she manages to look great, as seen in her billboards advertising Ricky Reyes salons. And she stays sharp as well, why she can still memorize lines in her movies and tv shows. I dare call her the Elizabeth Taylor of Philippine movie industry and deserves to be respected.

Gloria is doing good in steering the economy of the Philippines. Those who do not feel this are the stuborn un-employed ones who are still akin on beleiving this opportunis who are hell bent of dislodging her from her seat because they still worship Joseph Estrada and his gang of make-beleivers.
Her only downside in my point of view as a Filipino is that she failed to surrond herself with people who are honestly 100% behind her in her causes. This people around her are beside her for thier own personal intentions be it good or bad. Top that with this opportunist opposition who are putting fuel on the fire.This is why the people from the other-side of the story thinks she is doing such a bad job.
What we need rightnow is to rally behind our leaders and choose the best possible persosn for senate so that this non-sense mud-slinging be stoped internally. We do not need lawmakers who will use the halls of congress to bash and quash the system. We do not need to vote for bidders who have personal intentions or doing favors for this own good.
