I went to Singapore for three days last April, it was hot. The shopping is fab but very expensive you can go to Orchard Road for that. You got Changi Prison were alot of Brit's from WW1 were sent to, Singapore Zoo where you can do a night Safari. The street food is great. You got Chinatown there are some nice attractions there. Little India again the same as Chinatown. You can get a boat along Singapor River. Off the coast there is an island called Pulau Ubin. This regarded as Singapore's' last 'Wild Frontier'. You can catch a ferry from the coast of Singapore and go to the Indonesian Islands. I found getting there was quite hard, the Sings don't like the Indonesians. After three days we got onto Malaysian Expedia website and booked a flight to Borneo to go to the Orangutan Sanctuary, because we booked the flight through a Malaysian website it was really cheap, about £50.00 return. We stayed in Borneo for about 10 days before coming back to Singapore to fly home. All this is only brief. If you email me i got some leaflets and stuff here that i bought back from Singapore i could scan them over to you.

Singapore is almost on the equator so the weather is year round. The nearest thing to a cultural event in Singapore is either Chinese New Year, an Asian football qualifier or the Singapore Sevens.
I suggest you go when your flights are cheap.

October---->March will be the ideal Months to go there. April----->September will be terrible warm.
In Singapore you can buy (969)/22Carats Gold Jewelleries and Japanese Clothes cheaper.
Taste the open Restaurants fine sea foods in Malaysia.
Jahur is a popular place for these.
Attention!! They also serve Frogs!!!!

Do not throw your Cigarette butts in the streets!
