kindly please enlighten me on this, i was interviewed by the us consul last october 12, 2006 and was given the yellow slip (to signify that my application for non-immigrant visa was approved). but the thing is until now i don't have my visa yet and it's been 7 working days since my interview. as per the us embassy website in manila it says there that the processing of approved visa would only take 4 working days. i'm now worried that my passport got lost somewhere in their system because according to the courier services, my passport is still with the embassy. so which is which? call me paranoid but i'm worried that somebody might use my passport and i would have a bad record because of it (yup i'm watching too many 'mission impossible' movies). but the thing is my brother was interviewed last october 17, 2006 and he got his visaed passport last october 19, 2006! would you believe that?! so please could somebody please enlighten me and tell me that this thing happens..........please

I notice that alot of Singaporeans that went overseas especially Asia countries, either SG dollars is strong or they are trying to show that they are rich by tipping the local ppl unnecessary without understanding their culture and standard of living. These actions will cause your fellowmembers to pay more in future.Do u agree?

I'm a guy with mid- short hair. Wld want to relax it to make it straight and ash-brown. Typical hair salon in Singapore like Reds charges around S$30 for cut. Bleaching and colouring is S$140. Relaxing would be ard S$50. where can i find good and renowned hair salons in Central KL (Times Square area) which are priced cheaper than these prices in singapore, yet as good or even better? any hair-stylists to recommend? the quality shld be the same as singapore rite?

In my Japanese language book, it says I can use an i adjective with a noun e.g
Takai kuruma ja nai desu - It is not an expensive car.

My question is would it also be ok to use another form, e.g...

Takakunai kuruma desu - It is not an expensive car

Is that still correct?

Also how would you say it was not an expensive car...would

takakunakatta kuruma desu

be ok?

I know it not right to ask this but im so curious to know.
On normal days I’ll hear muslim mosque prayers 5X a day. Resident living nearby or non muslim it used to that volume and been tolerate about it for years n years.

When fasting month came by the volume suddenly turn to the maximum as though the sound came from next door.
Normal prayers it take less then 5 minutes but when fasting month it more then that.

Another thing those prayer used to shout when praying, it not proper right? Cant they use their normal tone as the volume of the speaker or microphone it already maximum loud?

Why they are so inconsiderable of those non muslim or other people??
Why cant they turn to the normal volume?
And why should they shout when reciting a prayer?
