try to use Chinese airlines - cheaper ( about RMB2000 )
HK airlines or international ones are more expensive
if you have enough time - why not take a train? it is very interesting - 20 hours - about 500only

while you're taking the Air China/United flight from JFK it somewhat is 13.5 hours. i've got accomplished that flight and the return each and every summer for 5 years. The foodstuff is extra beneficial coming from China. It sucks a$$ from NYC so i decide to propose taking snacks.
