So tomorrow i'm flying for the first time tomorrow from NC to tampa...I brought my ticket online so I don't have a physical ticket only a confirmation number. What will I need to bring to the airport to insure that no issues arise? I'm only 17 so not considered a adult yet.

So.... I have not flown on a plane before and these are just some of the many questions that I have...

1.) Do airports have a specific area for each airway? For example if I fly with American Airlines do I have to check in my luggage at an area specified for people flying with American Airlines?

2.) Speaking of checking in luggage where do I go to do that? Do they have signs of some sort?

I recently came back on a trip with Aloha Airlines from Honolulu to Oakland. I had a cooler full of perishable food. The airline lost my bag, recovered it and returned it to me 1 day later. Problem is that all the food is spoiled and I had to toss everything. They said their contract of carriage doesn't compensate for spoilage of perishables. Its not my fault that this happened. I told them it was perishable when i checked in the bags. Is there are recourse for me, legally or otherwise? I need some ammunition to contest this.

I saw it was flying with different international airlines. Just wanted to know if it was coming to the United States? It seems to me that it could save the airlines money to have more passengers on one plane, which will cut down on total flights a day to the destination and many more things...I wouldn't expect it to fly Domestic...but def. internationally...What do you think?

I'm going to be leaving for vacation next week and I will be flying. Is it okay for me to have an EMPTY water bottle in my carry-on going through security? I'm just hoping to save a little $ by not purchasing water bottles at the airport.

Can anyone explain why a 1c ryanair flight only has €9.99 taxes but a flight from the same place, to the same place, on the same day of the week only a week later costing €19.99 have taxes of €19.36. I can understand the variation in prices of flights but surely the taxes should be the same, no?

Will they have any problems since the tickets would have been purchased from my credit card and I am not travelling with them?
Will they need to show who has purchased tickets for them?
If yes, how do they prove their relation with me?
What documents should they carry for their personal identification?
What documents should be carried by an adult student from India who doesn't possess a credit or debit card?

My aunt made some medicine for me. It is basically some hometown dirt cooked for an hour and sifted. It's to be sprinkled into water to prevent indigestion when traveling. Is this against some kind of travel or customs regulation that I'm not aware of? I think I remember that dirt is off limits if it isn't sterilized, but this is cooked for a whole hour to make a very sterile medicine.
