They're actually about the same. I would go with the one that had the most accommodating schedule. Most people choose an airline based on their frequent flyer program . . they're very loyal if they belong to one of the programs. You'll not find much difference between major carriers.

Well I perfer American since I live in Miami and American is the huge airline in Miami. But both airlines are fine, I like American, I never had a problem whith them on the many flights a take every year. But United does have channel 9 where you can listen to Air Traffic Control on your headphones, and since I am a big aviation fan I would love that.

Why those two? I can think of better airlines than those and many fly to as many (or more) destinations. Continental, ExpressJet have nice products and services, and I've heard Air Midwest is nice as well. If you're going international, either Continental or Virgin Atlantic would be my choice but there are plenty others I'd fly on depending on the route and destination. Don't forget though, Continental still gives you free food as opposed to nothing or having to buy food on other airlines.

American had laid-back stewardesses and team, and appeared suprized when I commented to them approximately it. i've got flown the different airline greater, and it ain't no picnic, what with overbooking and messing with us like we've been products of uncooked meat. frequently at the back of schedule on the tarmac, flights canceled, undesirable information, undesirable information. If the prospect grew to become into there i might bypass American even though it would not constantly fly to quite a few the circulate cities i could desire to get to. impossible to assert, relies upon on once you fly, the climate, the direction, considered one of those great sort of variables.

United air usually has better service. Price is pretty close unless you are going anywhere south of the border then United is always going to win out. American has good customer service. (Not somebody in India)

I've never been on either. Only have been on BWIA, Air Canada, and that's it, maybe a Czech airline coming from Czech. to Canada. But yeah, that's it.

Well, American is generally cheaper. But they're both fine. Just watch out with flying American's MD-80's....old and noisy, and if taking a regional airplane watch out for those Saab's....noisy

United hands down. This is not just because I am a mileage plus participant. American's horrendous customer service and word of mouth have long sealed their fate in my book.
