To buy a ticket to London Gatwick from Canada from one website, and another ticket return from a different website??

I wonder who has done this.

Yes, it is possible. Just make sure to choose one-way flights on each website.

Realize, however, that this may end up costing you more than it would be to purchase one roundtrip ticket on one website. One-ways are typically more expensive in the long run.

I have flown where I had one leg booked on Internet myself of the trip and the other legs organized by a travel agency.
But mostly it is no use to do that, as you pay a lot more.
Return tickets are mostly much cheaper than 2 singles, even when the flights are shown as singles, (costs and so on.)

If you decide to do it, make sure the companies know that you want single tickets only, no returns. (Or if you get returns that they are on a later date than the flight you use.)
That is because if you do not use a flight on a ticket, often the whole ticket is canceled.

Yes you can buy one way tickets from 2 different websites.
Just make sure you select the one way function.

Yes, do if you can save money. I have used different ones - orbitz www.orbitz.com and expedia www.expedia.com

If you want the top experience go to www.firstaircharters.com or www.mobilityaviation.com for a privatet jet charter

As some of the others have said yep its possible, if you are doing this because you are want to fly in and out of different cities check with your airlines to see if they fly in/out of the cities you wish to visit. Or at least near them.

Why not? They're both one way flights.
