Yes, as long as they follow the rules - turn the phone off and the electronic devices during take off and landing.

The answer is both yes, and no.

The answers given so far are accurate, but the no part comes in because you did not give your origin, destination or carrier name, but you did mention digital cameras, and these often are powered by 1 1/2 volt cylindrical batteries, usually of AA size..

Please note that some countries forbid the carriage of AA/AAA/B/C batteries in the passenger compartment as those countries have regulations that say the batteries are capable of being used as explosives.

If you have a camera, or any other device that is powered by this type of battery, and you are in one of those countries, you may keep the camera (or other device) but the batteries will be taken away from you at the security desk.

Check with the airline you will be using to be sure.

Everything that you have listed is no problem. Be aware that all these things must go through the Xray before you can board. You can also take computers on board with you. The airlines make you turn off all electronic devices during take off and state that your devices could interfere with the planes electronics on take off which is bull. They just want you paying attention during the most dangerous parts of the flight. But... Don't worry! You can take your gear with you.
No Problem!

yes you are allowed to, although you have to turn ur cellphone off on the aeroplane as it may interfere with flying. When they say that you can turn electrical appliances on, that means you can listen to ur Ipod and turn ur camera on.

yes. just listen to instructions while you're on the plane, they will tell you when you can and cant use them. Make sure you listen cause they will yell at you if you are using them when you are not supposed to be (that and if your chair isnt in the "upright position"). I have had both happen to me :)

You can have a cell phone onboard the aircraft, but I think it's against the law to turn it on.
