I'm going to Italy and while I'm there I want to make sure I don't gain weight or anything, I doubt that the Hotels will have scales, so am I allowed to bring one on the plane, Or will it be confescated?

As odd as it is, you should be allowed to bring a scale on an airplane. Just make sure you stuff it into your carry on luggage. You won't have a problem

It won't be confiscated but do check-it in instead of carrying it on. Would you want to carry a weight in your carry on?
