Okay say that there is a RULE 240 Refund-- the passangers flight was cancelled and no reaccomodation can be agreeably made...The airline has granted the passenger a refund for the fare amount. What channels does the refund have to funnel through? I think that there is some organization called "ARC" involved somewhere. How long does it generally take? Thanks!

I'm flying Malaysia Airlines from New York to Kuala Lumpur. Although I'm booked on Economy (may be, that is what I can afford), I dread getting my 6 ft. 250 lb body getting crunched for 18 hours in that cramped up space. Any thoughts on how to find ways for an upgrade?

I would like to take a relaxing romantic vacation with my husband in October. It will be our 4 year anniv. Due to him being in the military, we've only had the chance to celebrate our 1st anniv. together. A nice sunny beach would be great. Not too expensive. 5 night stay in or outside the US. Not too sure about a cruise. Can't that get boring? It doesn't seem like it would be a private, cozy type of thing. Any ideas or suggestions would be a great help.

My friend was flying from Manchester to Boston to San Fransisco, but the person she was to meet in SF (an @$$) ditched her. Her flight leaves tomorrow! So instead of not going entirely (because the two were going to travel back to Boston together after a week in SF), she wants to go but get off in Boston (because we work at summer camp together on Cape Cod). Will this be an issue? How can she make sure her luggage gets to Boston? Are there any complications of which she should be aware?

When the cabin losses pressure masks fall from above. They say that oxygen will flow to the mask even though the bag does not inflate. So.... why have the bag at all? What does it do?
