a specific airline?
ive always had very good luck with cheap flights from Southwest. im not sure when or where youre flying, but check them out.

you could also try checking cheaptickets and travelocity and those types of things for certain deals depending on where youre going and stuff. but southwest is a great deal.

No one airline offers the lowest fares, best thing to do is go to individual airline websites and price the fares.

I've not once ever had expedia and the like bring back a lower fare then the airlines website. Just my experience, plus I like to buy directly from the airline and avoid the middle man.

I was comparing a bunch of flights for later this month and Delta consistently gave me the cheapest prices, that was booking from their web-site, not from one of the ones that searches for multiple carriers.

It will depend as different carrier will have different promotion at different time. You will need to check through their sites for these offers when they have it or at the time of your travel.

if you go to www.kayak.com, they will show you all the different prices offered by the different websites and carriers. you can then either purchase the ticket with them or go to the website or carrier and purchase through them. hope this helps!
