Almost every time I sit in a plane after landing, 75% of the people around me flip open their phones and start yapping away. It'd be one thing if they were lining up their ride home, but almost invariably they're saying something like "Yeah, we just landed. No, we're on the tarmac. No, the TARMAC. Yeah. Yeah. No, I just wanted to tell you where I was. I'll just give you a call when I get home." Couldn't this be saved for at least their walk over to baggage claim?

We want to go to a beach and relax. Has to be ocean front and walk to great beach. It will be mid January 2007, so it has to be somewhere warm (I heard it will be rainy in Hawaii?). Also, we are hoping to not spend too much money.

I lost two expensive and nice dresses while travelling cross-country. Who would I contact if airports and hotels are involved? One of the dresses my late husband gave me shortly before he passed away.

We were due to fly out of JFK 6 a.m. with conn. in Miami. 1st flight was delayed, causing us to miss our connection. AA made us rebook for the next afternoon. Causing us to miss basically 2 days of vacation. Then we find out they delayed the original connection and we could have made our original flight and only suffered a 1.5 hour overall delay. do we have any recourse to obtain compensation of some sort? We followed their suggestions ... how to we approach this? Thanks for any help

My parents are going to Disney tomorrow morning. My dad bought my mom some tickets to go to the show. Since the tickets are like a credit card, he bought a tin gift card holder to give it to her. He is taking that down with him and their bags are going to be carried on.

I was just wondering if security is going to look thru the bags because of it.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just don't want him to have the surprise ruined.

Thanks

Hi all

I'm just wondering, when commercial airlines fly to various cities around Australia (say for example, I'm from Cairns, and I fly to Melbourne), would they go along the coast or cut through the land? and how about Brisbane? I'm guessing they fly along the coast?

Best answer will be rewarded.
