i am taking an ATA flight from california to Hawaii. do you know if the headphones for listening to music or watching the movie have this plug where ou have to have an extra piece to hear it clearly. like u have the headphones then you put it in this changer thing so that puts it in 2 slots. this happened to us last year on aloha air u could only hear out of one ear until we bought the headphones.

i have flown ata before, but not to hawaii. i did not recive an adapter like thing, only the headphones. but i didn't even use those, i just used my ipod head phones.

They sell the adapters in the gift shop at most airports. Some of the aircrafts for some airlines have been upgraded to the single prong connection, while others have not. On their website it just says you are welcome to use your own compatible headset, so does not mention single or double pronged connection. You can try calling their reservations line if you dont get an answer from here. They may be able to look it up in their system.
