Traveling from Bend Oregon to Narita next weekend. Would I have to pay extra for a bicycle in a box (unassembled)? If so, how much? It would be my second piece of luggage but I imagine it would be considered oversized baggage.

Many of you have experienced flying, and I have, too. However, everytime that I do fly, the flight is too long, the batteries die on my DVD player, and my ears just won't pop! (Then again, the DVD player doesn't matter much, especially since I can't hear it over my nearly deaf-from-popping ears.)

What is the best way to make your ears pop, and the best way to entertain oneself while in the air?

It still boggles the mind WHY they charge full price for a 2 year old even tho it's a seat on the plane.......they should charge 1/2 price at least until the age of 5 or 6. But let me know which airlines don't charge the full airfare for toddlers, we want to do a family vacation to Hawaii next year May.
