we are military living overseas and we sent our 8yr old back to the states to see his grandparents. The airline stuck him in the playroom and forgot to get him. He didnt show up at the final destination....when this happend we called all over and 8 hrs after he landed in detroit he called and said he was in a play room...when could he leave! The airline never contacted myself or my parents to let us know he didnt make his flight!! He ended up spending the night at the airport, on the floor!! But they NEVER called to let us know what was going on!! I would like to sue for breech of contract, because we paid for an escort, and mental anguish, but dont know where to start from all the way over here!!

Hi have booked two tickets with Network Airline (online) for scheduled Air France flight for two but other person may not be coming, of course I would reimburse his money for fare paid (he's agreeable to this) and have someone else who wants to come but HOW does this work?
With low costs air lines like easyjet, they're really nice about amending anything even mispelt names but spoke to Network airline and they say it would be classed as a cancellation and then you'd have to re-book? well all cancellations mean losing the origianal fee, so what does this mean, these two tickets cost over £1012.00 yes over 1K, so thats a lot of money, what can I do? any advise please anyone AIR FRANCE booked through NETWORK AIRLINE online. Its 4.10 in morning and I cannot sleep fo worry I saved for ages to be able to book this and now it seems like a mess. Spoke to airline network and they said to change a mispelt name even could cost from £50-100 and for a complete name change U have 2 cancel, rebook

Why was it safe to bring liquids on a plane just a few weeks after the ban was put into effect due to a terrorist plot? Were they afraid the terrorist group had some operatives who weren't captured who might go forward with the attack, or was it to make people feel safer? And is there any reason bringing liquids onto a plane is safer now than a few weeks ago?

Opinions are welcome but points will go to anyone who can tell me how the decision was made.
