How much are you allowed to take out of the country leaving from a British airport? If you want to take more than the allowed amount, must you declare? And by declaring do you have to pay any tax?

There is no limit to the amount you may take. You can also use your cheques and credit cards abroad........

Sorry for not being able to answer this question directly... but you can probably find out by contacting a few travel agents if you can't get your answer via Yahoo Answers.

I think that in the USA you have to declare when you travel internationally with more than $10k. I could be wrong, however. I just have a vague memory about this.

No idea. If you have a credit or debit card then you can use cash machines abroad to take out money.
