The joke is "Where do they bury the survivors?" But there is no such thing as a border with size. It is a legal fiction. In the real world, there is one country's land, and then another country's land. The border line has no width and a plane cannot crash on the line. It is either in one nation or the other.

If there are fatalities, they will repatriate the bodies to their home countries. Or if the families want them to be buried where the crash was, they would be buried in a cemetery nearby.
If there are survivors, they will not, of course, be buried. ;)

A variation of this joke runs, "A two-seater plane crashed in a (insert your favorite ethnic group) cemetery. The authorities have found 150 dead and are still finding more."
