I am about to take trip to canada from australia, it will be the first time that i am taking my 1 yr old son on such a long trip and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to make the trip as smooth as possible for him (not to mention me lol)

I have never been on a plane before and am going on one alone in 3 weeks, and I have a stupid question. Can I get "plane" sick (like car sick) if I read. I know how car sickness works, but I just can't imagine the samething happening on a plane unless there are a lot of clouds.

passenger cabin was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone into a good mood as he served them food and drinks. As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and announced to the passengers: "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, lovely people, so if you could just put up your trays that would be super." On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed that a well-dressed rather exotic looking woman hadn't moved a muscle.
"Perhaps you didn't hear me over those big brute engines." he said, "I asked you to raise your trazy-poo so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground." She calmly turned her head and said, "In my country, I am called a Princess. I take orders from no one." To which the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat, "Well sweet-cheeks, in my country I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you. Tray-up bitche."

Screaming kids, cramped spaces, and a flight so over booked that the two of you dont even get seats together... and all you get is a movie you've already watched! Happened to me and I just wanted to scream!!
Other than the regular inflight movies and lame info. what would YOU like to be able to do on a flight?

I just went out for a smoke and an airplane flew over head and banked 90degrees. I've seen this before, obviously, but I was just wondering why they bothered. What is there for them to fly around? Surely there's nothing in their way up there. Wouldn't it be quicker and cheaper to just fly in a straight line?

flying with virgin.. do you need to pay for drinks etc on board or are they free?..and anything else u need to pay for?.also i know liquids arnt allowed on...in assume that means lipgloss perfume anything to freshen up..what about solid lipstick or baby wipes?..camera??

hi...am flying from heathrow to jfk on 17th nov...my flight is at 2pm...traveling aprrox 3 3.5 hrs..also allowing for traffic...with these new security guide lines does any one have any clue how many hrs u have to there before yr flight..iwas thinking of leaving at 7am in the morning??..........gonna be a bldy long day!?
