I live in FL and am going to WV to visit my boyfriend November 19th-26th...Where can I get real cheap plane tickets? Can I get it under $400??? Is a bus or train a better idea or a plane??

my 13 year old son is in canada on an exchange, he rang me tonight and is so home sick he didnt stop crying. ive tried to get a flight to canada to bring him home but they are all sold out. i need to go tomorrow or tues and return weds or thurs. does anyone have a flight i could pay them for so i could go and get my son, i would be very grateful. need to fly from london uk to either, montreal, ottawa, or toronto. please help if you can

I'm going on my first long distance flight and this involves a change of airline half-way through, what I need to know is do I have to collect my luggage and check it in with the second airline when I get to connecting airport?

i have never flown, so i need to know how, tall, wide, heavy ,my carryon can be. also, i need to know what i can, and can't take.

i know you can NOT take liquids and gels, but can i take my prescription meds, and my sons medication?

can i also take sippy cups with us?, a car seat, and diaper bag?
what counts at 'a carryon'.?

I've just got back from Mauritius yesterday and my flight was from London to Mauritius via Paris. The airports amke a big deal about saying no liquids or pens or gles or flammable substances should be taken in your hand luggage but I carried my 2 lighters in my hand luggage [i smoke nasty habit] as a test to see if they would pick them up. My hand luggage was xrayed and nothing. I also had tweezers in my make up bag but nothing. In fact whilst at Charles de Gaulle airport in the way home I was waiting for my transfer plane and left the airport to go back ouitside for a cigarette. I left with my passport, boarding card and cigaratees with the lighter inside the packet and had to go back through security to get back into the wiaitng area. I was holding the cigarette packet in my hand with the lighter inside and had to put it in a little box to go through the x ray machine... and again nothing.

so. my boyfriend is moving here in less than a week and still hasnt bought his ticket. how can we get one really cheaply? im not seeing much that is very cheap (considering it is a ONE WAY flight in less than a week), and i need help so i dont lash out on him for not buying the 83 dollar ticket he saw a little over a week ago.

anybody got any ideas?

I want take a mountain bike from Singapore to Mumbai, India on a plane. How much does it cost if ever...I can manage to fit in my baggage with the bike in the allowed weight range. I am flying the Jet Airways this december. Any help in this regard wud make things easier for me :)

I'm going to be taking a trip soon, and wish to know, what are airlines and Gov.'s current rules and regulations, since there has been quite a few chnages to what items are allowed, what are not, personal items taht can be brought in and what has to be brought at the airport (water, drinks, food) where could I go to find a current list of whats OK to bring, and certain items you would have to pick up at the airport. Do the rules change form airline to airline, or state to state?Help would eb greatly appreciated
