You can carry on a backpack but there are fules about what can be in it. There is a restriction on certain liquids and pastes and things of that nature. I last flew at the beginning of September and they made me throw out my lotion :( It was my favorite scent too.

Yes you can, you are allowed 2. your purse does not count. It has to fit in the cubby thing above your seat. They will xray and maybe search. You cannot have lighters, matches or anything sharp. No fingernails files. There are new rules now about anything liquid. Including shampoos and stuff. They have gotten very sticky. You could call any airline 800 # to be sure. They will have a recording.Just arrive early enough for any delays, and remember it is all for everyone's protection. Oh, be prepared to take your shoes off also. That is a must going through security. Wear something slipon.

You are allowed a backpack and a carry-on. I carry-on is the bag that would go in the overhead bin, backpack is a bag small enough to go under your seat. It is highly recommended that you bring a change of clothes, any medication and toiletries (although thats gotten a bit tougher) in your carry-on. I work for an airline and I can't count how many times people have lost bags with their medications, car keys, important douments for tomorrow morning's meeting etc. packed in their bag that is lost.

As far as liquids, you are allowed to have a quart size zip-lock bag with liquids in it in your carry-on. Each liquid in there must be 3 oz. or less and must be presented seperately for screening.

As far as lighters and matches, lighters are a no, but you are allowed to have 4 books of matches on you (in your pockets)

i'm an annual pass holder and replaced right into a disney international merely a week in the past. you are able to convey small backpacks with you on the rides. some rides have factors the place you are able to placed a small bag %., handbag, and so on. in it. if the bag is merely too large, then you quite would be asked to go away it on the loading section and could be waiting for you once you get off the journey. yet you will be able to desire to have an extremely large bag that can not be secured. I even have taken my digital camera returned %. to boot as bags with products I even have offered on the parks on each and all the rides. widely used Studios Orlando does no longer enable bags on specific rides... yet for those rides there are lockers exterior and are loose for a short volume of time... desire that facilitates.

yeah they'll let you bring it, but it'll be searched about a dozen times before you get on the plane. A book might be easier and will save you more time.
