It is good to know he loves and misses you so much, I take it that no one forced him to go, it does seem a mistake to go to Canada and bring him back. I don't know where you are at present, but I believe you can give him the support he needs from home, he needs to learn to take some responsibility for his actions. If he is encouraged to make decisions with the believe that should he make a mistake, his mother will always rescue him, he will be unable to make decisions without your support in the future. I'm sure you miss him as well, you heard him when he was feeling homesick, if you can encourage him to try and enjoy the experience, while understanding his obvious distress, I feel you would be doing him more benefit than bringing him back as soon as possible.
I don't think however that you are able to take this advise, but I genuinely believe it should be considered.

Without searching for a specific flight, I will tell you, there are so many airline carriers that would meet your needs, it doesn't sound as if you researched your options well enough. You may have to fly first class, or business class, and both can be extremely expensive. Try British Airways, Virgin Airlines; go on line, you will find something I am positive. Right now you are not thinking clearly. Take a deep breath, look up the airlines that fly in and out of Manchester, or the closest airport near you. You would be more familar with the international carriers living in England.

Is there no way he could come back on his own? Not sure if they still do it, but a few years ago they had a system whereby kids over 11, I think, could be handed over to a stewardess at check-in, and 'looked after' by her on the flight and then handed over to you. They were called 'unaccompanied minors'. Try BA or ask in a Travel Agent's.

i feel for you, it is so hard to know that your kid is unhappy, but perhaps what he needs more that to go home, is for you to be strong with him and help him to stick it out for the rest of the trip. I know it sounds harsh, but having the experience of overcoming homesickness as an adolescent can be so rewarding. all kids go through this at some point, and realizing you are okay without your mum feels so good. good luck to you whatever happens but honestly i would encourage him to try and stay the course.

All sold out, or all sold out of the fares you're willing to pay for? I'm sure there's plenty of seats out there, on several airlines, routing through several cities (try expanding your search beyond BA, bmi, and Air Canada).
But yeah, he needs to sack up. And your mothering isn't helping. Take it as constructive criticism.

sorry he is so homesick. he will probably be having a wonderful time in a few weeks, so maybe you should set a time with him in a week or two to go get him. maybe he will change his mind by then.
re the airline tickets. it is highly unlikely you could use someone else's ticket, with security what it is. be very careful you do not get scammed.
