It depends on the type of ticket and where you purchased it. If you purchased it from a 3rd party website like Priceline, Cheap Tickets, Hotwire...etc, you will have to notify them. Usually their tickets are not changable for any reason.

IF you bought it directly with US Air, domestically its a $100 change fee plus or minus the difference in fare. The only fares that are fully changeable without penalty are F (First Class) and Y (Full Fare Coach). You will need to call reservations and have them price it out.
