Air Travel

You might have heard while flying, the air hostess announcing that the cabin lights will be turned off but the reading lights can still be used. Just curious to know what's the reason behind it? Any guesses?

I am flying through Delta Airlines!

I am going on a trip from Texas to British columbia Canada. I wanted to know what kinda stuff should I take with me I'm 18, Female. So here is some of the stuff I thought to bring! Clothes, make up, razors(can u bring these on plane?) Deoderant, laptop, my shampoo, toothbrush, and can I bring snacks?

Any suggestions or what should I bring? I'm going to stay at my boyfriends house for a couple months I haven't seen him in 2 yrs so help!

when it comes to airline travel, flights can be extremly expensive? is there any ( scam free ) ways to fly for free? i know that there is ff miles and points on credit cards and what not... but is there anything that can be done quickly? i saw in a movie once people got to fly for free because they were delievering organs from one country to another. can this really happen? please help my friend wants to fly to sweeden from the US and he is broke.

I'm going on an airplane trip for the holidays with my son and am looking for any advice/tips from those who have experience traveling with their kids. I've not traveled with my son except by car and, then, I had my husband with me; this time it's just the two of us.
