I know they have flight paths, but there's nothing in the way, so why not take off, get the direction and flap those wings all the way to where ever it is they are going?

I don't travel by airplane very often and I'm planning on taking a trip from the United States to Canada. Do I need to get a passport or something? How do I do that? Do they ask to see any specific documents or anything before you get on the plane? I'm just an inexperienced traveller.

I am going to be flying my one year old son in January. We will be flying from LaCrosse wisconsin to Seoul, South korea. We make a stop at O'Hare airport in chicago and then fly straight to south korea from there. I have a few questions.
At the O'Hare airport do they have an area that after you go through security that you can buy food and drinks while waiting to board?
My son drinks regular milk. I need to know if I will be able to buy him some before the flight.
What do I do if the plane runs out of milk and jice befor the flight in over. Will I be allowed to bring powered milk on the plane to mix with water to give to him?
Another question I have is do the allow umbrella stollers on American airlines and Korean Air?
How do I keep and active toddler preoccupied on a 14 hour flight.
How do I change his diaper when theirs no place to change him on the plane.?
Is there something I can give him before the flight to help him sleep more? It is a daytime flight.

Is there any way to get around a change fee? I am currently studying abroad in Australia, and was supposed to spend a four day layover in Fiji for my return trip. However, Fiji is now at a high risk for a coup, and my university is recommending that I don't go. Is there anyway to get out of paying $200 to change my ticket for this?

I'm flying to GA (from NH) for Thanksgiving, with my 5-month-old daughter. I have flown before but it was with my husband. This time around, he can't come along b/c of work, and I am just really nervous! I've never flown by myself, let alone with a baby. I know in my head that everything will most likely be fine, but I keep worrying about stuff like "what if the plane crashes?" or "what if I miss my connecting flight?" or "what if the baby gets fussy on the plane?".....Help! I have to be calm and sensible for my daughter's sake. Suggestions??

I really just don't want to leave my secure job to fly across the country to attend training and fail and have to come back home to nothing... What are the test like? I know I'd have to pass with at least a 90%. What is training lilke, is everything done in groups or do you handle certain proceedures alone in front of trainers?

I flew for the first time on an E-190 out of JFK. Anyway I thought it was great--the food and leather seats were great. However, my dad who had flown about 16 times before said it was a rough takeoff. In a way it was, I guess--the plane took off angled to the right. I was wondering is it the plane or the pilot? The weather conditions were perfect. Also, I suppose it is possible that the aircraft was brand new and the pilot was merley getting aquanited with it.
