0730 is am. Miltary time is 24 hrs starting at 0000 for midnight, 0100 is 1am and so on, after 1200 noon it goes 1300 for 1pm and so on. There are 4 time zones in the US, Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific all seperated by an hour each with Eastern being the lastest. So, if it is 7am in Los Angelos on the west coast in pacific time, its 10am in Atlanta, Georgia or New York or Miami on the east coast in Eastern time.

From Sydney to Atlanta right now after Day light savings, its currently a 16 hr difference. During our spring/summer and your fall/winter its a 12 hr difference. So, when its 2pm Eastern time here OR 5pm Pacific time its 6am there.

Flying from Australia to the US you lose a day meaning if you depart on a Monday you will arrive in the US on Monday. On return you gain a day, so if you depart on Tuesday you will actually arrive on Thrusday because there is already a 13-16 hr difference in time and then flight time is 13-16 hrs. So, when you depart the US add 2 days and that will be your arrival day.
