Just watching the Airport program here and it seems that people who turn up late seem to think it's the fault of the airline and start to kick off or turn on the water works.

When the airline says be there 2 hours before and they turn up after the check-in has closed, should they be let on the flight?

I have mixed feelings about Ryanair who the pogramme is based around, i can't ever imagine flying with them because they sometimes seem to be awkward for the sake of it.
However, the staff do seem to have some right scumbags, drunks and really nasty people to deal with every day.

Personally i think they are bang right to stop people travelling when late when we have all the security problems we have, or the 'i know i'm wrong but going to kick off anyway' attutude of some customers.

Can anyone tell me why most major airlines charge nearly twice as much for a transatlantic one way flight than a return? None of the reasons I can think of make any sense, so does anyone know the explanations that the airlines give?

Ok, so I have a website saying that a ticket costs $900, including taxes $1000. Are there no more expenses, like luggage fees, looking at the airplane tax or taking the same breath as pilots money?

Will I really have no other cost than this $1000?

Hello, I'm travelling tomorrow, from Calgary to Vancouver through Air Canada, then Vancouver to Hong Kong and Hong Kong to Manila through Cathay Pacific.

How do I know if my luggage will be transferred automatically? Or will I have to do it especially in after my first flight since I'm flying a different airline?

I'm thinking no, because some people say that it is possible to ask for your luggage to be checked in all the way so that you don't have to worry about it. So that must mean that normally I would have to transfer it mysefl right?

Would you suggest I ask that my baggage be checked from Calgary all the way through to Manila??

Also, I only have about 1hr 30 mins from when I arrive in HK to catch my flight to Manila, is that enough time?? I arrive early morning, 730am, so it might be busy...???

Yikes, it's my first time travelling alone and I'm scaaaarrreeed....!!!

I have to go back to my hometown on december....I still have the copy of the ticket, but unfortunately i forgot where i put the original one....I already sent an email to the airways company, but they haven't answer me, so i decided to ask here...I hope i'll found the ticket soon, but what IF i lost the ticket ? Do i have to buy the new one or are there any other alternatives ?
