Some machines are allowed some are not, I don't think tanks ever are. Also each airline is different on their rules, just because tsa allows it does not mean the airline does. Check with both.

Someone flew on us recently with a portable oxygen compressor, which means no tank to buy at the destination. It's about the size of a carry-on She said the portable compressors are really new and cost about $6000 to buy but she was able to rent hers just for the trip. You might want to check out that option, she was very happy with it.

Check with the airlines, they have all different rules.

If someone needs the oxygen during flight for health resions, the airline CANT SAY NO!!

If they do, then they are not a good airline for Customer Support

You have to purchase the oxygen from the airline. You can't bring your own tank.

I don't see how they can be denied. It is need for a medical condition. You might have to have a doctors note. Call the airline to verify
