Why do South Africans believe they have a great constitution?

I always laugh when I read South Africans on this site going on about their consitution and how it is apparently one of the best in the world, and 'second only to Sweden's'.
Really? Then how come this 'great constitution' discriminates against the white minority? How come it has no answer for the murder, rape and mayhem engulfing the once prosperous country? How come it allows the theft of land from white farmers, then given to people that have no idea how to farm?
Where are the guiding principals that dictate that all men are created equal, without the crippling BEE doctrine and draconian affirmative action measures?
Why has this 'great constitution' (second only to Sweden's) reduced South African currency to something akin to toilet paper?
Why does it give criminals more rights than hard working citizens? Why does it allow politicians to steal taxpayer money with abandon, when they're not raping people and showering afterwards?

Just asking.

my ex husband is taking my daughter to south africa in may... she is 5 years old and loves people! this worries me because of the crime.kidnap and rape rates ive heard so much about... can any1 put my mind at rest ??

How come supermarkets in South Africa sell wine but not beer?

I find it quite puzzeling that I can buy wine in supermarkets (Spar, Pick n' Pay), but I can't buy beers. Does anyone know why this is? Is it because the bottlestore have a monopoly on selling beers?

Everyone is under the impresion that south africa is a poor country with only blacks and lions runnig around!!
Well thats not true! i live in soouth africa yeah we do have the poor and dangerous areas but every country does....were are not like any other county in africa we have beutifull malls...gold reef city luxurios hotels!and yeah there are whites!allot.....i relly just want you to go on the net...type in menlyn canal walk and south africa just to see that were not one big jungle...please i want a better name for my country please1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

South Africa - my wife and I are planning to Travel independently, is it reccomendable?

Wife is Argentinian, I'm Tunisian, so we know about 3rd world...however, never been to sub-saharan Africa, and we want to be in SA in August 2007, for 15 days. We travel a lot through South America with a Jeep and a map, getting one B&B at a time and very little planning... Is it reccomendable to do the same in SA?
