As I said in your other question:
Firstly thumbs up! Secondly, I live in South Africa too (In Joburg actually) and I can agree with you 100% on this! SA is a great country and i would not like to live anywhere else! As a matter of fact, I will not live anywhere else! It's amazing what people who have never been here think of this place! Some people don't even know as much as you have mentioned-like while I was studying overseas, I had people ask me where I was from and when I responded South Africa, they were like, 'ok, but what part?' Lol! They like think South Africa is Southern Africa and don't know that it's a country! Oh well, for those of you who are still proudly South African-good on you and may you all remain the way you are! Take care:-)

I think that South Africa is amazing and is getting (and will get) better and better!
Law and order is a serious problem which South Africans must lobby the government like hell to confront.
South Africa is intrinsically a stable country with a robust and highly developed economy. The racial make-up of the country has little to do with the success of the "New" South Africa. In fact, in international terms, it is much stronger since the end of apartheid. Just look at the visitor figures. I believe Cape Town is the second-most visited international destination by British tourists today, and it's a long and expensive flight for them. Foreign investment is booming. That speaks volumes about not only how attractive the country is for tourists and multinational businesses, but how the government has essentially "got it right" by offering the olive branch of reconcilation back in the 90s.
No country is perfect but RSA is in better shape socially and economically than most other countries. The best years are ahead, keep the faith!

South Africa have the 20 th greatest financial device interior the worldwide, besides the undeniable fact that it is seen a center income country because of the fact of intense unemployment and a large difference interior the living conventional between the wealthy and the poor. it is wealthy in organic components yet poor in management skills.

YES I agree 100% with you!!!! I've met people over seas and when they ask me where I'm from and I tell them SA they laugh and think I'm lying and say but you not black and theres only blacks in Africa! I just tell them to go on google and search Johannesburg South Africa so they could see for themselves a built up city and not a jungle. but dont worry in 2010 the world will see;)

Ja, of course we know that...Maybe you should post this in the section of the country whose people are so ignorant. If it's America its a bit tricky...and you may be labeled a terrorist if you dare disagree with them. Shame.
