Renewing South African Passport in Australia?

How do I go about this?

I live in Brisbane, Australia.

Reason I want to do it because I can't travel to SA with my AU passport because that's illegal now.

Thanks for the references. I already knew that from the website I saw earlier, but I was wondering, how would someone conduct an interview from Canberra? does it need to be face to face? usually there's an interview process. Does this count for renewals?

I think you might be able to do it by post it is just more hassle. I did it here in the UK, so I don't know how it works in Australia and you can never get through to the offices here, typically South African.
