I live in SA and I am loving it here! The climate is good, the people are friendly, the scenery is great! The crime is a bit high, but every place has crime! I will not live anywhere else but here! It's a great country :-)

The government, since the early '90s, has gone to great lengths to seek reconciliation rather than retribution for the scourge that was apartheid. Nelson Mandela especially embraced his oppressors. He and other black leaders rightly recognized that national unity is a worthy ideal, and modern-day South Africa as a result is a country worthy of respect and a model of democracy.

South Africa is a great place for entrepreneurs... it's so alive with culture and vibe that I don't think anywhere in the world could match it!

Since I come from SA, I will of course say it's a wonderful place! The people are the best ever! The crime isn't so nice, but that doesn't stop me from being patriotic! But overall, it's a great place! Especially if you wanna go on holiday!

AWESOME! I love South Africa!!!! to be honest i wouldn't want to live in Cape Town though... really too slow for me. i like the Joburg "fast mode". People are friendly and you could start conversation with ANYONE! we very spoiled here too! Maids, petrol attendants, people to pack our groceries, window cleaners at robots (traffic lights), mimes at robots, people to take your trash at robots, "flea markets" at your window when stopped at a robot... The climate is great! I love the afternoon storms:) nice cars, nice restaurants BUT like I said before, the best thing of all is EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY TO EACH OTHER!!!!! Blacks to Whites to Coulerds to Indians to Jews to Muslims to Christians to Rastas to Zulus to Xhosa's LOL I'm just going on now;)
