As far as I am aware, EU citizens need a visa to go to Europe! We certainly did when we visited Egypt in the 90s. As an RSA passport holder you may not, though, due to pan-African treaties.

Check with the Egyptian embassy.

No question, if Egypt requires South Africans to have visa's flying from SA, then coming from anywhere to Egypt will require a visa.

Careful though U.K. is not obliged to give you entry unless you have permission to be in U,K. for work or such so they might not let you in and just send you back to SA.

As far as i know unless you have been in UK for five years or more and have permanent status in the country you are not allowed to travel anywhere. I believe you have to have a British Passport to enable you to fly from the United Kingdom to any other destination even if it is on a holiday otherwise on returning to the United Kingdom you will have entry problems again. Hope this helps I would query this more though.

Indefinite go away to proceed to be. Then, after one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days you could persist with for citizenship. have you ever exceeded the 'existence in the united kingdom' attempt? If no longer, get a bypass on - they gained't grant you ILR without it!
