What do you think about south africa and the people?

I live here in Joburg and I love this country! The people are friendly and the place is great! I would love to live here my whole life! :)

South Africa is an extremely beautiful , multiracial and multicultural country. On the whole the people all interact with each other very graciously . We work hard and have a lot to be thankfull for.
I am pleased to say that SA is a great place to be. We have fantastic beaches , mountains, Game reserves and every possible effort is made to ensure that tourists are happy.
We have a "bad' crime rate, but personally i dont see how it is much worse than any other country.
We have great weather all year round and winters are very mild.

Absolutely the most fabulous place on earth. I loved the land and the people. All of the ladies called me "mama". I went on safari and it changed my life. There is nothing like a sunset in South Africa. The sky is purple. I have been fortunate to travel many places in my life, but South Africa is hands down the most wonderful place I have ever been.

Having just returned from my second visit and planning my third in a year, does that tell you anything?
Beautiful country, wonderful people all round. It could have been so different. Despite high crime levels and AIDS which the government must make their number one priority to tackle, the "New South Africa" is a beacon of hope for all developing countries.
I would encourage anyone planning to visit to do so, without hesitation.

AWESOME! I love South Africa!!!! to be honest i wouldn't want to live in Cape Town though... really too slow for me. i like the Joburg "fast mode". People are friendly and you could start conversation with ANYONE! we very spoiled here too! Maids, petrol attendants, people to pack our groceries, window cleaners at robots (traffic lights), mimes at robots, people to take your trash at robots, "flea markets" at your window when stopped at a robot... The climate is great! I love the afternoon storms:) nice cars, nice restaurants BUT like I said before, the best thing of all is EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY TO EACH OTHER!!!!! Blacks to Whites to Coulerds to Indians to Jews to Muslims to Christians to Rastas to Zulus to Xhosa's LOL I'm just going on now;)
