for me well that is my wedding ring if i don't put in on in the morning then i have the worst day ever, every thing goes wrong and i keep on rubbing my ring finger hoping that my ring will appear magically.

so what is yours?

Do we b*i*t*c*h about a lot of things or do we just go with the flow. I've had different opinions thrown at me. Some people say: "You b*i*t*c*h a lot!" and some; "You let that go so easily!" What's your take?

An Israeli doctor says :
"Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him looking for work in six weeks."
A British doctor says:
"That is nothing, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in four weeks."
A Canadian doctor says:
"In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have them both looking for work in two weeks."
A Zimbabwean doctor: not to be outdone, says:
"You guys are way behind. We just took a man with no brain - made him President, and now the whole country is looking for work."

A South African is drinking in a New York bar when his cellphone rings. He hangs up grinning from ear to ear and orders a round for the whole bar announcing that his wife just gave birth to a 12kg baby boy. Nobody can believe the weight but the South African just shrugs and says, "We make 'em big back home folks. My boy´s typically South African". Congrats are showered on him and many exclamations of "WOW" are heard. One woman even faints due to sympathy pains. Two weeks later the South African returns to the same bar. Barman says "We were going to call you, everyone´s been making bets as to how much your 12kg son weighs now, soooooooooo how much does he weigh now?" The proud father answers that he now weighs 9kg´s. The barman is puzzled and concerned and asks "What happened, he already weighed 12kg on the day he was born". The South African father takes a slow swig from his long neck Castle beer, wipes his lips on his khaki shirt, leans proudly over to the bartender and says .........

Politics.
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"
Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so lets call me "capitalism". Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so well call her the "Government". Were here to take care of your needs, so well call you the "People". The nanny, well consider her the "Working Class". And your baby brother, well call him the "Future". Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"
So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nannys room. Finding the door locked, he peeps in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.

On June 20 2007 at 05:00 one Hendrik Verwoerd wakes up in the middle of Pretoria. He then starts his walk in the streets from around 07:30. What would he notice has changed and what would be his first words? He takes a meter taxi to Jan Smuts …oops I mean OR Tambo. Save for unending delays of SAA, he gets into a plane to Cape Town and his allocated seat is 14A while Ayiza is at 14B and Bull (Bush 4) is 14C. Inno, MB and Poepies, as hostesses, are busy chatting about Poepies birthday party of last weekend. In comes WRRRR with his oversized hat and ego. He sits on 13A and starts cross-chatting with Ayiza about deportations of Europeans and so forth. On row 15 sits Mr & Mrs General. Tsepo, who is in nearby seat 15D has just ordered his favourite breakfast - Hansa.

How would this two hours of flying look like?

And most of us get thumbs downs! I know of a couple here in the SA category that get thumbs ups immediately after they answer questions, even if the answers they give is stupid or not relevant. Why do we bicker about this issue? It's not gonna give you any more respect, is it? Did you know that the ones with the most thumbs downs are the most respected here?

I urge you to look at some profiles and see for yourself! Some people give bullshit answers and get good ratings!

SA women, which are you?

1. Very domesticated women who do everything
2. A working woman whom you can fairly share chores with or do them with
3. A woman who is maybe 10% domesticated but willing to try when she can
4. A corporate wife who has hired help for the week, but does domesticated stuff weekends
5. A corporate wife who brings home tons of cash, has hired help monday to monday, and has never seen the inside of a pot?

Explain why and please add own choice if not written above... thanks

Yes, I know its my favourite complaint....and so shall I further complain.

But how many of you actually "thumb" people fairly? Take an idiot like Ayiza, he talks kak most of the time, but makes good statements sometimes (but he'll get a thumbs down even if the statement did not deserve such), even a person like Sweet Angel who hardly ever miffs/pisses off anyone, gets thumbs down unneccesarily.... Are people getting a bit too thumb happy? Are we meant to now fall into the norms of RSA?

I mean I'd understand a thumbs down if I wrote "ET is the saviour of all and we have to worship him" not if I wrote "I prefer soccer to rugby!".... (I am aware outsiders also tend to stick in their noses/ or thumbs uneduvatedly)

Some people need a bit of growing up... really.
