Relocating and organizing over 600 storage boxes of files (by hand) from the second story of one building to the second story of another building inside of a week when my real job was covering switchboard / reception during breaks and sick days (among various other duties such as filing, doing bank deposits, promo sales and shipping ... then told a month later I had to do it all over again. And then again just three months later. I tell ya ... insanity and the whole shebang. All the time having to wear professional looking clothes under my covies so I could do the quick change routine when I had to be in the public view. Then, after I'd quit they actually asked me to do it again because no one else would or even knew how. Guess what I said?

Making 300 papier mache carnival masks for a party, in 3 months!
By myself!!!
To make matters worse someone gave out my number to the guests and so I started getting personal requests! It got so that everywhere I went I had sequins in my hair and feathers up my nose.
Going to bed before 3am wasn't an option.
By the end of it I was covered in paint, twitching in my sleep and so high on the varnish that everything was actually ooooooooookay.

Volunteered of all things to help a mate of mine with an Uranium test drilling hole of 4000 feet in -25Fahrenheit [-31Celsius] temperature and I had no idea what I was doing while the project was going on!
Got a 'tip' at least after 2 weeks, but it was horrible! Lesson learned - never volunteer for nothing!

Two years ago, scouring an entire mountainside for 38 hours looking for evidence. In a team of five, we each had 30 minute breaks every 3 hours and four hours sleep. It was cold and wet and I will never forget it in a hurry.

Heathrow Airport. Long hours. Sometimes night shift. Sometimes only two hours' sleep after a party and going to work with a bit of a hangover.

When still a learner, we used to get so excited about getting "piece jobs' during school holidays (December time to be specific). I was this tiny boy and got a piece job at Suncrush (local makers and distributers of Pepsi products).
I'd to take those heavy crates of twelve on litre bottles. It's long time ago, but even today I'm still scare of those crates.

I used to throw hundred pound bags in a warehouse for Holly Sugar. We would sometimes lift hundreds of thousands of pounds in a day. Really tough work but god was I in shape.
