I often hear politicians discuss the above mentioned topic and find myself wondering how many generations this would take to achieve and after observing liberal countries such as the UK, Germany, Holland and many other European countries where racism is on the rise, I wonder why, if they could not accomplish this then how could we?
What are your thoughts?

I often hear arguments for and against this cause and draw in my own personal opinion the logical conclusion that they should be allowed to vote from an ANC perspective, as the only difference between them and the rest of the ANC voterbase is that they were actually caught and convicted.

I have fought all my life for a democratic SA.
I always voted against my family and friends.
When I voted ANC in 1994 it was because I believed in majority rule.
I still do and if you want to f... .. your country that is you problem.

Living in Spain I have to get all the day to day things done in Spanish while adapting to their system and culture.

At times when I am having discussions with some Spanish friends I find it frustrating that I can´t express myself as completely as I would be able to in English.

Have you ever thought about how a lot of SA people on this forum, and in daily life, who do not have the advantage of being mother tongue English speakers may struggle to express themselves?

Is credit not due to Zim$, Vango, Inno, Poepies, Tsepo etc.?
(Whose English are all good. Apologies for those I did not mention.)

What do you think?

He seems to be a "good guy" and is currently the only one speaking out against the "quiet diplomacy" of Thabo Mbeki with regards to Zimbabwe. Do you think he would make a good president and if so or not so....why?

Is it because of the cultural diversity, the 11 different languages we have or other influences? As a language practitioner, I know that slang has nothing to do with accent. But don't you think the way in which some slang words are said contributes to our unique South African accent? And what is a South African accent really? Is it the Afrikaans-English accent or the Bantu-English accent?

Two days ago we had great weather and I was bragging about it. I was even planning a trip to the beach! And I had a long weekend coming my way! Now we have rain here and the beach thingy has gone bye bye. Also my school called me up and told me I should be at some badminton tournament on Sunday and they leave at 7 o' clock! Who was it! Who!

I have wondered for a while now why we don't have our own flag and read many questions about this same issue. Is it because we have a low percentage of internet users from South Africa or are we just considered a third world country? The Philippines have their own spot and they are third world, right? But, look at the amount of open questions they have! Two hundred and we have only 70! Also take a look at South Korea with almost no questions, but a spot on the site. How about we all contact Yahoo Answers and ask them?

I have had my mom and dad send me some stuff two months ago and it had not arrived. The post office said 6 weeks. I tried tracking it from the post office website, but only found that it was shipped from Durban two days later. How long will a ship like that travel from the ports of Durban to South Korea? Thanks for any help you can offer, because my wife is ready to kill me on this issue. She thinks her parents-in-law made some kind of arrangement with the post office to send it later. She's making me crazy!
