I have had my mom and dad send me some stuff two months ago and it had not arrived. The post office said 6 weeks. I tried tracking it from the post office website, but only found that it was shipped from Durban two days later. How long will a ship like that travel from the ports of Durban to South Korea? Thanks for any help you can offer, because my wife is ready to kill me on this issue. She thinks her parents-in-law made some kind of arrangement with the post office to send it later. She's making me crazy!

Seriously, Im sorry its getting your wife irratated, I can relate as an irratated wife. Depending on which way they sent it - sounds like the slow boat - it could take 3-6 months. The only good thing for you is that it is probably huge thats why your parents sent it the cheaper option. (I hope it wasnt food)

Next time Try DHL , we sent some stuff for our company a few weeks ago , takes about 7 working days , they also have an overnight express service but that is very expensive

First class without priority or express will take 7 to 10 days.

Air mail ten to fifteen days.
Ship between four to six weeks.
One more thing depends on the shipping company. If they are doing a straight run from Africa to Asia then four to six weeks .
But if they are doing Europe then Asia you got to wait between six too twelve weeks.
