I am booked to go to Morocco for marriage and now find that I need hospital treatment. Does anyone know exactly what tests they do on the medical required before marriage? I might be taking chemotherapy drugs soon - will this affect my medical - I wonder - anybody know? Personally I think they maybe only test for STDs but it would be nice to know.

I want to bring this man here from Morocco but I dont want to get married without my parents meeting him first. As you all know Morocco is not a rich country and therefore we are both saving and scraping to gather money to travel. I have found information that shows I have to go there to get him here. Is there any other way?
I want him here with me in america and a visitors visa seems untouchable. How can i get him here without sending him money? i can buy him a ticket, but what about the visa?
any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I just got back from Morocco and our guide (who was amazing) was admiring my swiss army knife. I want to send one as a thank you but found out I cant SEND any knifelike thing by mail to Morocco. Would anyone be willing to take this with them and mail it for me from there? Here's the story. I met my fiance (Moroccan) a year ago, and visited him there for 6 weeks this summer. I really enjoyed being there, and am considering moving. One of my major conserns is my 2 yr old daughter. She is a little blonde, blue eyed, cutie....and I'm wondering if moving to Morocco with her should even be considered an option?? I have heard all of the stories, and I guess now I'm just wondering how much of it is true. Thanks for any help!!

I thought of taking a tour in Europe this way when I was younger...I have seen they have added Morocco on now.

If you have taken it or know somebody that has was it fun? What did you like/dislike?

Maybe my husband and I will visit Morocco and then back pack this way through Europe...everyone things we are so young anyway. LOL Looks like we will be in Morocco Summer 2008 for a wedding and vacation. If all goes well I will insha'allah be done with B.A. by then too so it will be great and we can inshaallah stay longer!

I just saw these two videos (in French from M6) about sexual tourism in Morocco and how it started to go up after the tsunami. It also mentions how tourism in general is going up by 20% a year!!! Is this discussed a lot in Morocco? Is it on the news a lot? I have heard it mentioned on answers when ppl come and ask sexually motivated questions and everyone replies "Don't come here for sexual tourism." (me included) but I didn't realize how bad it has truly become.

They are in French but worth watching I think. They even have some hidden camera clips. What do you think? It made me cry!

Is this true? I just saw a video about it but unfortunately I don't understand all the Arabic. I was able to read the French decription of the video though. If anybody has any more details or knows of place online where I can read more about it I would love to know. Is there more to the story than that? I want to blog about this and wished I had the name and address of the place so I could give the French hotel owner a piece of my mind. :P How can you go visit a country knowing of the athan and then complain about it...and how much more corrupt can the police in Morocco get?
